A Glimpse of my Valentine's Day
“Anong gusto mo sa Feb 14?” is a typical question that is being asked to someone before the lover’s day occurs. Maybe you can relate, don’t you?
Valentine's Day is a yearly celebration wherein it happens every Feb 14 of the year. There is a shower of roses, bouquets, tulips, letters, promise rings, and chocolates as a gift to their lovers or crushes.
Last February 14 in ISNHS, there were a lot of students who wore different colors of dresses.
A lot of couples are dating around the corner of the hallway, having a simple lunch somewhere out of the universe (school canteen), or even just simply serenading someone with their 2-year-old guitar with their song composition. Not gonna lie, it’s sweet and a dream for some romantic ladies.
In addition to this, Valentine's is also a day of showing your love, care, admiration, and affection towards someone. Not just romantically, but also platonically, like your best friends or loved ones.
On the other hand, the way I celebrated my valentines was spending my lunch with my classmates. Additionally, we also serenaded our teachers and gave them a token as a symbol of our love and gratitude to them. Moreover, I never gave anyone a gift but for someone. That gift symbolizes platonic love and care, I just did it because I felt like that person needed to know how validated her feelings are. That is the summary of how my Valentine's Day went and the rest is confidential.
In a nutshell, Valentine's is a yearly celebration every 14th of the second month. It is where there is a shower of gifts, love, care, admiration, and affection. The way I celebrated my heart’s day is just simple and lowkey. Nevertheless, I had fun and I’m grateful to everyone who had spent the day with me.
