Endings Can be Beautiful

It still amazes me that a quarter of the academic year is almost over. However, I do think that there are sayings that state "endings can be beautiful too," and sunsets lend validity to that statement. But before my teacher, my classmates, and I go on to another semester, I just want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful memories we've made and shared in such a short amount of time.

I would want to begin my so-called "contemplating session" by expressing my gratitude to everyone who has supported me during the quarter and to those who will continue to do so for the remainder of the academic year.

First and foremost, I had a tough second quarter, spending several sleepless hours completing the requirements I needed to pass on time. Many meals were missed in order to make time for the assignments I had to do, my voice broke under the constant guidance and leadership of my loved classmates, and I had to take on more work than I could handle in order to balance my extracurricular and academic obligations. Nevertheless, I don't regret any of my choices. I'm glad I decided to enroll in this special program as, well, I've gained a lot of knowledge and abilities. I developed my skills and even uncovered a few hidden ones. Like what my favorite Wattpad character, Akihiro Leonel Juarez, said "You Make Time for the Things and People You Love."

In addition, I developed my punctuality skills. I was in the right environment to understand the value of sticking to the scheduled time, therefore I developed a sense of time value.

Finally, I understood the mere fact that you can't change a person. Assuming that how they handled you, just represents their upbringing and behavior inside their homes. Although it can occasionally irritate me when others behave so differently to me, I am nevertheless grateful for what they have done in helping me adjust and adapt.

In summary, I gained a great deal of knowledge in the short amount of time that I spent with the people I cherish, including academic knowledge, practical skills, and life lessons that I can use. I want to see change, therefore perhaps this post won't seem as dull as some of my previous writings. I have hope for a brighter day in the future. I'm thrilled and privileged to start a new chapter in our lives together, Maxwellians, and make more memories with every one of you.
