“Children are our most valuable resource.”
Have you ever heard a phrase like this before? It implies that kids are the most valuable resource we have for the future and the cause of the ongoing transformation in the world we live in. They are the source of happiness and light for every household, and they act as a beacon of hope for the future of our shared planet. These young people should receive good treatment since they are important members of our society. Among these include the unalienable rights to life, health, and safety from injury. Additionally, November is designated as Children's Month in honor of them.
I've come to think that if we can protect our materialistic possessions, how much more can we do for the children out there? As a fellow student, what are the things that we are capable of doing to preserve every child's right and to mitigate any possible harm towards them?
First and foremost, I believe that helping others to voice out their thoughts and feelings, and improve the way we communicate is the best thing we can do to support and care for every child. I think that relationships and communication have a big impact on people's mental health. According to expressible.com, children's inability to express themselves may lead to self-isolation, bad temper, or even other behavioral issues. Thus, developing positive relationships with people outside of your immediate peer group will help you, as a responsible student, avoid causing unnecessary harm to other kids.
Second, adopting an "anti-bully" program on school grounds is also necessary to protect the rights of all children. Encouraging this sort of program will be very helpful in minimizing harm to anyone because bullying may be perpetrated physically, emotionally, or psychologically.
And lastly, to reinforce what has already been discussed, initiating campaigns and advocacy on "depression" is another beneficial technique to assist kids. These days, this program is advised due to the significant annual fluctuation in the number of children experiencing depression. Therefore, creating an environment where people can openly express themselves without any pressure at all is one of the least we can do to minimize these situations and far worse scenarios like self-harm and death.
In a nutshell, fostering positive peer relationships, implementing school-based initiatives like "anti-bully" programs, launching campaigns against depression, and providing a safe space for children to express themselves are just a few of the things we can do to keep kids safe. Providing the children with appropriate direction, love, and care is an excellent approach of providing them what they need and deserve.
