Impaired Pair Of Wings
Long story short, I'm Zarah Yllovea Collado from 10-Maxwell.
"We never really value things until they turn into a memory"
When I was a youngster, I wished I could be an adult right away because I felt I could do whatever I wanted. But I was mistaken... Growing up is not what I expected. As I grew older, I became more aware of how things function in the actual world. My relaxation day turned into a hectic day, and my enjoyment became the source of my distress.
"Regrets of the past"
I wish I could be a kid again so I could fly like Peter Pan. Flying represents the power to believe. Have you ever wondered why only the children in the story "Peter Pan" could fly? It's because children are youthful, daring, and free. They are free of any worldly judgments, and they feel that everything is possible in this world. Adults, on the other hand, were unable to fly since they were anchored with the inability to believe. They no longer think that everything in this world is endless. They are imprisoned by the world's high standards and societal norms.
"I'm a chicken! chicken... chicken?"
Do you ever wonder why I call myself a chicken? Not because I'm a coward but simply because I have wings, but I couldn't fly. As I grew up, I lost the ability to fly, and I forgot how to see things from the perspective of a child.
Whenever I'm looking back at my old pictures, I say " How I wish that I could go back to the times when I was younger." Because that kid in the picture has the ability to fly, to believe, and be free from any social norms.
How I wish I learned about the saying, "We never really value things until it turns into a memory" So that I could have valued and enjoyed my childhood days.
